Hello and welcome!
I'm a dedicated psychotherapist with a passion for providing counseling services that help people live a better life. My journey into this profession was sparked somewhat unexpectedly during a very different time in my life.
Back then, I was teaching an adult acting class focused on improvisation and scene study. One night in the studio, I assigned my students an exercise on the fly—without any thought. It changed everything for me. They were tasked with creating an intra-scene monologue based on their personal history, without a script. Over the next two hours, the raw, unfiltered emotions and experiences they shared stunned me. My eyes opened to the profound depths of human experience.
Right under their skin, readily accessible and present in their mind, there was trauma, pain, distorted self-narrative, courage, love, hope, and a clear need to be seen. It was human drama. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, real, and relatable. Witnessing these unscripted dramas unfold was magical, and I was in awe. No one exited that studio as the same person they came in as.
I knew what had happened was somehow dangerous, though. It left me with a nervous feeling. I was ill-prepared to handle the responsibility and weight of what had unexpectedly occurred. I needed to be a better steward of this vulnerability and had somehow gotten lucky.
I had a single session with a counselor at 14. It was a mandatory thing. It felt painfully silly and childish. I dismissed it entirely as a waste of time and determined it was an adult hoax used to placate their own unactualized altruistic drives. How blind we are even to ourselves.
So, counseling would never have crossed my mind as a respectable profession. Until, the next day, in a conversation with a friend who happened to be life coach, Erin Williams, a seed got planted. "Have you ever thought of becoming a counselor?" In that moment, somewhat offended, I said "no."
But from that moment on, I’ve never stopped thinking about it.
After spending four years in a master’s program, three years in a doctoral program, and twelve years of practice, I still find myself contemplating the impact of counseling services. This means I am continually growing and learning in my role as a counselor, and what it means to be a counselor has changed, is changing, and likely will change even further.
Today, I am committed to providing you a safe space for us to explore your thoughts and feelings, including any existential issues you may face. Free of judgment, focused on your strengths, and recognizing you as the expert of your own life, I hope to journey with you sometimes as a guide and cheerleader, while at other times as a sage and observing facilitator as you work toward healing, self-improvement, and self-discovery. It's an honor to be part of your journey, and I am here to play whatever role will help empower you to take the center stage and navigate this next stage of your life.
Thank you for visiting my site, and I hope to connect with you soon!

I am not an expert.
Now why would you want a not knowing therapist?
It’s you and me talking. We may share the room but we will focus on you.
I can’t think of a single thing I am afraid to say (when it comes to our work together).
What got you here may not take you there, but it won’t hinder you either.
Not surprised or shocked at being human. I am human, too. We are in it together.
Due to the engagement schedule and frequent travel, it can be challenging to access counseling services that address existential issues or to find time for mindset coaching, especially when dealing with professional burnout. However, prioritizing self-improvement during these busy times is essential.
